This Acceptable Use Policy explains how RutoWallet services may and may not be used. It applies to account access, wallet activity, deposits, withdrawals, conversions, user-to-user transfers, virtual card services, support channels, referrals, and related features.
RutoWallet is designed for lawful personal and supported business use. Users must not use RutoWallet for illegal, abusive, fraudulent, deceptive, harmful, restricted, or non-compliant activity.
General Rules
Users must use RutoWallet honestly, lawfully, and in accordance with applicable laws, these legal documents, provider rules, card network rules, compliance requirements, and instructions shown inside the app or website.
Users must not attempt to hide the purpose of transactions, provide misleading information, bypass reviews, misuse wallet or card features, or use RutoWallet in a way that creates risk for users, RutoWallet, providers, networks, issuers, or other parties.
Illegal or Restricted Activity
Users must not use RutoWallet for any illegal, prohibited, sanctioned, restricted, or unauthorized activity.
Prohibited activity includes:
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, fraud, scams, theft, bribery, corruption, tax evasion, or other illegal activity
- Transactions involving stolen funds, hacked accounts, ransomware, extortion, exploit proceeds, darknet markets, or other illicit sources
- Activity involving sanctioned persons, sanctioned regions, prohibited organizations, terrorist organizations, banned entities, or legally restricted parties
- Use of RutoWallet in countries, regions, merchant categories, or transaction types where access is restricted by law, provider rules, issuer rules, card network rules, or RutoWallet risk controls
- Attempting to use RutoWallet to evade law-enforcement, regulatory, compliance, tax, sanctions, or provider requirements
Fraud, Scams, and Deceptive Activity
Users must not use RutoWallet to deceive, mislead, exploit, or harm another person or organization.
Prohibited behavior includes:
- Impersonation, fake accounts, false identities, forged documents, synthetic identities, or misleading verification information
- Romance scams, investment scams, giveaway scams, phishing, social engineering, account takeover, mule activity, or payment fraud
- Unauthorized card use, stolen card details, chargeback abuse, refund abuse, dispute abuse, or merchant fraud
- Attempting to trick another user into sending funds, sharing credentials, revealing passcodes, or completing unauthorized transactions
Security Misuse
Users must not interfere with, attack, reverse engineer, overload, scrape, probe, bypass, or compromise RutoWallet systems, accounts, providers, APIs, devices, or security controls.
Users must not use automated scripts, bots, credential stuffing, denial-of-service techniques, malware, spyware, unauthorized integrations, or other tools that may harm RutoWallet or other users.
Wallet and Transaction Misuse
Users must not use wallet services to process transactions connected to prohibited activity, unsupported assets, prohibited regions, hidden ownership, suspicious routing, layering, or attempts to obscure the origin or destination of funds.
RutoWallet may review wallet addresses, transaction patterns, user-to-user transfers, blockchain withdrawals, deposits, conversions, and related activity using internal systems and third-party risk tools.
Card Misuse and Restricted Merchants
Users must not use RutoWallet virtual cards for restricted merchant categories, prohibited regions, sanctioned parties, illegal purchases, cash-like transactions where prohibited, or activity restricted by card providers, issuers, processors, card networks, or RutoWallet.
Restricted card usage may include activity connected to gambling, adult services, illegal substances, weapons, counterfeit goods, high-risk financial services, prohibited digital goods, fraud, or other categories listed in RutoWallet card restrictions or provider rules.
False Information and Account Abuse
Users must not provide false, incomplete, outdated, or misleading information during account creation, KYC, support, account recovery, card access, dispute handling, or compliance review.
Users must not sell, rent, lend, transfer, or share account access, create accounts for unauthorized third parties, use another person's account, or allow another person to use their account to bypass restrictions.
Referral, Campaign, and Reward Abuse
Users must not manipulate referrals, campaigns, rewards, promotions, or eligibility rules through fake accounts, self-referrals, coordinated abuse, misleading referrals, automated signups, or other improper methods.
RutoWallet may cancel rewards, reverse campaign benefits, restrict accounts, or end participation where abuse is suspected or confirmed.
Enforcement
If RutoWallet detects or suspects a violation of this policy, RutoWallet may review activity, request more information, delay transactions, block transactions, decline card activity, freeze card access, restrict features, suspend accounts, close accounts, cancel rewards, report activity, or take other protective action.
RutoWallet may be unable to provide advance notice or detailed explanations where doing so could create security risk, violate law, interfere with an investigation, or breach provider or compliance requirements.
