We take multiple precautions to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and potential loss of funds. Our system is designed to help users manage digital assets with stronger protection across account access, transaction activity, and recovery processes.
RutoWallet uses trained machine learning systems to continuously evaluate transaction activity and identify potential risks before they become harmful. These systems are designed to help prevent suspicious, scam-related, or problematic activity before it affects users.
We treat account safety, fund protection, stolen fund risks, forgotten passwords, and account recovery very seriously. For this reason, some actions may require additional verification, including KYC, depending on the user's activity, risk level, or compliance requirements.
KYC and Verification
RutoWallet may require users to complete Know Your Customer verification for selected actions.
KYC helps us protect users, reduce abuse, prevent fraud, and maintain a safer wallet ecosystem. RutoWallet partners with Sumsub, a trusted KYC provider, to support identity verification when required.
Users may be asked to complete KYC before accessing certain features, increasing limits, performing specific transactions, or completing actions that require additional security or compliance checks.
Blockchain Risk Detection
To help strengthen wallet security, RutoWallet may use blockchain intelligence and threat-detection services to identify high-risk wallet addresses, suspicious blockchain activity, scam-related patterns, stolen fund exposure, and other potential threats.
These systems help RutoWallet make safer decisions before processing certain activities. This allows the platform to reduce risk and protect users from harmful blockchain interactions where possible.
Supported Tokens
RutoWallet supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies and digital assets.
Our token support is not limited to stablecoins. We are actively working to increase the number of supported assets while maintaining a careful review process before adding new tokens.
RutoWallet does not automatically support every new token in the market. Newly launched or high-risk tokens may not be listed immediately. Before accepting a token into the wallet system, we review security, reliability, market stability, ecosystem maturity, and user demand.
Account Login
RutoWallet supports multiple login methods, including:
- Email login
- Google login
- Apple login
During sign-up, users must provide an email address and set a password. Even when using Google or Apple login, an account password may be required during registration or for selected security actions.
When logging in with Google or Apple, users may not need to enter their RutoWallet password every time. However, password verification may still be required in certain cases, such as account recovery, sensitive actions, or security checks.
New Device Verification
For account safety, RutoWallet may require additional verification when a user logs in from a new device.
In some cases, users may need to enter a one-time password or verification code sent to their registered email address. This helps confirm that the login attempt is authorized and protects the account from unauthorized access.
Account Recovery
RutoWallet provides account recovery support for users who forget their password or lose access to their account.
Because RutoWallet is a custodial wallet, account recovery can be supported through verification and security checks. Users may be required to confirm account ownership, complete email verification, or complete additional identity checks before access is restored.
This process is designed to protect users and prevent unauthorized account recovery attempts.
