Purchasing a Virtual Card

Learn how users can purchase a RutoWallet virtual card, choose a plan, pay with supported tokens, and confirm the request.

Users can purchase a RutoWallet virtual card directly from the card section of the app or website.

Before purchasing a card, the user must complete any required verification steps, including KYC verification if it has not already been completed.

Step 1: Choose a Card Plan

To purchase a virtual card, the user must first choose a card plan.

Each plan may include different limits, fees, card features, BIN availability, and usage benefits. Users should review the plan details carefully before selecting the plan that best fits their needs.

Once a plan is selected, the user can continue to the payment step.

Step 2: Select a Payment Token

After selecting a card plan, the user must choose which token they want to use for payment.

The user's RutoWallet balance may include different supported cryptocurrencies. The user can select one of the available tokens to pay for the card.

The selected token must have enough available balance to cover the card purchase amount and any applicable fees. If the selected token balance is not sufficient, the transaction cannot be completed.

Step 3: Review the Conversion Amount

When the user selects a payment token, RutoWallet will automatically calculate the required amount based on the current conversion rate.

The user will be able to see how much of the selected token is required to complete the card purchase.

Before continuing, users should review:

  • Selected card plan
  • Payment token
  • Required token amount
  • Conversion rate or estimated value
  • Any applicable fees
  • Total amount to be deducted

This helps ensure that the user understands the full cost before confirming the purchase.

Step 4: Confirm With Passcode

After reviewing the transaction details, the user must confirm the purchase using their RutoWallet passcode.

The passcode helps protect the account and confirms that the card purchase is authorized by the account owner.

Once the passcode is submitted, RutoWallet will begin processing the card purchase.

Step 5: Processing and Pending Status

After confirmation, the card purchase request may enter a pending state.

During this time, RutoWallet will process the request and confirm whether the user is eligible to receive the selected virtual card.

The request may remain pending while the system checks payment status, verification status, card availability, plan availability, and other required conditions.

Step 6: Card Purchase Confirmation

Once the card purchase is successfully processed, RutoWallet will notify the user.

The user may receive an in-app notification or other available notification confirming that the virtual card is ready or that the next step is available.

If the card request cannot be completed, RutoWallet may notify the user with the relevant status or required action.

Important Notes

Users should make sure they have completed KYC verification before purchasing a virtual card.

Users should also confirm that the selected token has enough balance before starting the purchase process.

Card purchase availability may depend on verification status, selected plan, card stock, issuer support, system checks, and compliance requirements.
