Manage Card

Learn how users can manage RutoWallet virtual cards, review limits, control card status, freeze cards, and manage card security.

RutoWallet gives users access to card management tools so they can control and protect their virtual cards directly from the app or website.

From the Manage Card section, users can view card information, manage security settings, review limits, and take action when they need to control card usage.

Card Management Options

Depending on the selected card plan, card status, and available features, users may be able to manage different card settings and actions, including:

  • View card usage limits
  • Review card balance
  • Set up or manage card PIN
  • Freeze a card
  • Unfreeze a card
  • Delete or close a card
  • Review card status
  • Access card-related settings
  • Manage selected security controls

These tools help users manage card access, reduce risk, and control how their virtual card is used.

Viewing Card Limits

Users can view the usage limits connected to their virtual card.

Card limits may include spending limits, transaction limits, recharge limits, withdrawal limits, or other plan-based restrictions. These limits may depend on the user's card plan, verification status, issuer rules, and card provider requirements.

Users should review their card limits before making payments or using the card for larger transactions.

Card PIN

Users may be able to set up or manage a card PIN from the card management section.

The card PIN may be required for selected card-related actions or supported payment flows, depending on the card type, card provider, merchant, and transaction method.

Users should keep their card PIN private and should not share it with anyone.

Freeze Card

If a user wants to temporarily stop card usage, they can freeze the card.

When a card is frozen, new transactions may be blocked until the card is unfrozen. This can help protect the card if the user suspects unauthorized use, loses access to card details, or wants to temporarily pause spending.

Unfreeze Card

Users can unfreeze a card when they want to restore card usage.

After the card is unfrozen, the card may become available again for supported transactions, depending on card status, balance, limits, and provider requirements.

Delete or Close Card

Users may be able to delete or close a virtual card from the card management section.

Before deleting a card, users should review the card balance, unpaid fees, negative balance, pending transactions, and any provider-related conditions. If the card has remaining balance or unpaid charges, the user may need to withdraw the balance or settle required fees before the card can be closed.

Important Notes

Card management features may vary depending on the card plan, card provider, issuer requirements, and user verification status.

Users should use the Manage Card section regularly to review limits, monitor card status, and control card access.
