RutoWallet includes a conversion feature that allows users to convert one supported cryptocurrency into another supported cryptocurrency.
This feature works similarly to a crypto swap. Instead of withdrawing funds to another platform to swap assets, users can convert supported cryptocurrencies directly inside their RutoWallet account.
How Convert Works
To convert crypto, users select the cryptocurrency they want to convert from and the cryptocurrency they want to receive.
RutoWallet uses real-time market pricing to provide an estimated conversion result before the user confirms the action. This allows users to review the expected receiving amount before completing the conversion.
Behind the scenes, RutoWallet uses PancakeSwap to process supported conversions. Any swap-related cost required by PancakeSwap is passed directly to the user. RutoWallet does not charge an additional system fee for using the Convert feature.
Estimated Conversion Amount
Before completing a conversion, RutoWallet will show an estimated amount the user may receive.
Because cryptocurrency prices can move quickly, the final received amount may be slightly different from the estimated amount shown before confirmation. However, the final amount is expected to be close to the estimate displayed at the time of conversion.
Users should always review the conversion details carefully before confirming the transaction.
Confirmation and Passcode
After reviewing the estimated conversion amount, the user must confirm the conversion.
To complete the process, the user may be required to enter their RutoWallet passcode. This helps protect the account and ensures that the conversion is authorized by the account owner.
Once the passcode is confirmed, the conversion will be processed. After completion, the converted cryptocurrency will be added to the user's RutoWallet balance.
Using Converted Funds
After a successful conversion, the converted funds become part of the user's available wallet balance.
Users can use converted funds like any other supported balance in RutoWallet. This may include:
- Sending funds to another RutoWallet user
- Withdrawing funds to an external blockchain wallet
- Using the balance for supported card-related actions
- Holding the converted cryptocurrency in the wallet
