Add Money

Learn how to add money to RutoWallet through blockchain deposits and user-to-user transfers.

RutoWallet allows users to add money to their wallet using multiple methods. Users can add funds by depositing cryptocurrency directly from the blockchain or by receiving funds from another RutoWallet user.

Once the deposit or transfer is completed successfully, the user's balance will be updated automatically.

Add Money by Blockchain Deposit

Users can deposit cryptocurrency into their RutoWallet account from an external wallet or exchange.

To make a blockchain deposit, users must select the correct blockchain network and the correct token they want to deposit. RutoWallet supports a wide range of blockchain and token combinations, so users should always review their selection carefully before sending funds.

Important Deposit Warning

Users must make sure they are using the correct blockchain and token combination before making a deposit.

If a user sends funds using the wrong blockchain, wrong token, or unsupported network combination, the funds may be permanently lost and may not be recoverable.

Before confirming a blockchain deposit, users should always check:

  • The selected blockchain network
  • The selected token
  • The wallet address
  • The QR code details
  • Any deposit instructions shown on the page

RutoWallet will provide the deposit address and QR code for the selected blockchain and token combination. Users can either scan the QR code or use the copy button to copy the deposit address.

Add Money by User-to-User Transfer

Users can also add money by receiving funds from another RutoWallet user.

To receive funds this way, the user can share their RutoWallet username with another RutoWallet user. The sender can use that username to transfer supported funds directly within the RutoWallet ecosystem.

User-to-user transfers are designed to be simple and convenient. The receiving user does not need to provide a blockchain address for internal transfers; the username can be used instead.

The Add Money page may provide a QR code and copy button so the user can easily share their username with another RutoWallet user.

QR Code and Copy Options

For both blockchain deposits and user-to-user transfers, RutoWallet provides easy sharing options.

Depending on the selected method, users may see:

  • A QR code for scanning
  • A copy button for copying the deposit address
  • A copy button for copying the username
  • Network and token details related to the selected deposit method

Users should always verify the copied information before sharing it or using it for a transaction.

Automatic Balance Update

After a successful deposit or user-to-user transfer, the user's funds will be added to their RutoWallet balance automatically.

Blockchain deposits may require network confirmation before the funds appear in the wallet. User-to-user transfers inside RutoWallet may appear faster because they happen within the RutoWallet ecosystem.
